Showroom of the Bride 2020: a pleasant event by Atelier Emé Bologna.
Among the things I love most in my work is the empathic relationship that is created with the spouses. For me, it is absolutely unthinkable to be a reference and support figure if the spark that generates trust and mutual esteem is not triggered first.
A slightly more particular bond is the one that is established with you brides. Probably for your sensitivity, for the trepidation I read in your eyes and for the emotions that for over ten years you have been giving me and sharing with me.
Today I want to tell you about an event in which I had the honor and pleasure of participating and which, in my opinion, could be of inspiration.
On 28 September at Atelier Emé Bologna, in Via d’Azeglio, the Showroom of the Bride 2020 was held, a wonderful opportunity to preview the dresses from the bridal and party collection and a pleasant moment of comparison with other colleagues who work in the “wedding environment”.
All in an elegant, chic but always familiar atmosphere as it is in the style of Atelier Emé.
Between a chat and another, I was able to closely observe and study all the novelties in bridal and party fashion proposed for 2020, paying the utmost attention to every single detail in order to be able to tell you the best of this experience.
It goes without saying that the dresses I saw on the catwalk were one more beautiful and particular than the other, with a large presence of macramé, crystals and sensual details for the bridal collection and jumpsuit and lurex for the party collection.
But let’s get to my favorites.
Among the wedding dresses that struck me the most there is certainly Coralba, a mermaid dress enriched by a game of flounces on the neckline and shoulders, particularly suitable for a romantic and dreamy bride who does not give up a pinch of vanity.
Another very particular model, but totally different, is Mara. A two-piece dress with a macramé mini dress and a long silk organza overskirt which, thanks to its wallet effect, creates a perfect mix of sensuality and elegance.
La vera chicca però è stata Angelina, un concentrato di audacia, eccentricità e classe.
The real gem, however, was Angelina, a concentration of audacity, eccentricity and class.
Suitable for brides who want to dare with style, this model combines the sensuality of the highneck macramé jumpsuit enriched with micro sequins and crystalline with the lightness of the tulle overskirt that opens to generate a wonderful I do not see effect.
As for the party collection, I really liked the idea of including a color like mauve in the creation of the looks. Here declined in a combined dress in which the lace blouse was combined with a long satin skirt.

I very much appreciated the presence on the catwalk of the ceremonial suit which I find an excellent compromise between comfort and style that was proposed to us in the long-sleeved black lurex version enriched by the neckline that leaves the back uncovered.
It was truly a pleasant and inspiring afternoon for which I thank Giuliana, Anita and all the wonderful staff of Atelier Emè.
I hope I made you dream a bit and I hope you feel like taking a trip to the atelier, maybe your dress is right there waiting for you!
Until next time!
